Two area residents were thrown out of restaurants in two separate incidents for allegedly being drunk and acting unruly, police said.

The first incident took place around 4:48 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Citrus, on Broad Street in Milford, Milford Police said.

According to a police report, Brendan Gloss, 24, of Stratford, was arrested after police responded to the restaurant for a report of a patron allegedly being uncooperative with staff and then attempting to fight with police officers when they arrived.

Gloss was charged with interfering with a police officer and released on a promise to appear ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7, 2020.

The second man was arrested around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Liberty Rock Tavern on Bridgeport Avenue in Milford, when police responded to a call of an unwanted patron.

When officers arrived on the scene they found that Tadeusz Kuchita, 33, of Milford, had allegedly been kicked out of the restaurant earlier in the evening for being too drunk, police said.

Police said he returned and allegedly threatened to shoot employees.

Kuchita was charged with threatening and breach of peace.

He was released on a promise to appear ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7, 2020.
