Teen Trio Nabbed As Police Chase Ends In Crash, Discovery Of Guns, Cash

Police nabbed three teens following a police chase that ended with the discovery of three guns and a crash.

The incident took place around 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, when a vehicle failed to stop of Bridgeport police officers and engaged them in a pursuit southbound on Route 8 by Exit 3, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.

Police said the vehicle then led officers to I-95 from Exit 29 in Stratford and then turned around and headed back to Bridgeport.

The three teens were taken into custody after crashing at the intersection of Noble Avenue and Crescent Avenue.

"There did not appear to be any injuries and three firearms were recovered with the occupants in custody," Jones said.
