SHELTON, Conn. — A three-story hotel in Shelton was briefly evacuated Tuesday night as firefighters knocked down a small fire on an outside wall, according to the Valley Independent Sentinel.
No injuries were reported in the 9 p.m. blaze at the Extended Stay America hotel at 945 Bridgeport Ave., the Valley Independent Sentinel said.
The guests were allowed to return to their rooms at about 9:45 p.m. after smoke was cleared from the interior of the hotel, the Valley Independent Sentinel said.
The cause of the fire was under invesigation.
