Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery At Bank Of America On Long Island

A gun-wielding masked man robbed a Bank of America branch on Long Island in broad daylight, Nassau County Police said.

Investigators from the Nassau County Police Department released a photo of a man who broke into Bank of America on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck at approximately 11:05 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9.

According to detectives, the African American suspect entered the Bank of America, approached a teller while displaying a black handgun and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he proceeded to flee on foot toward Cutler Mill Road.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators described the suspect as approximately 6-foot tall, weighing 200 pounds with a dark complexion. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, and black ski mask.
