Kahlil Heard, 22, was picked up Wednesday by the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force at his probation officer's office, said the Connecticut Post.
Heard is accused of shooting Raul Zayas, 26, on July 29 at the Mini Special Market. Police responded to the store after receiving complaints of shots fired. When they arrived they found bullet casings and blood, but no victim, added the Connecticut Post.
Police said about an hour later they were notified that Zayas had been taken to Griffin Hospital, with three gunshots wounds, said the Connecticut Post.
Heard was released after posting $100,000 bond on charges of assault, carrying a pistol without a permit and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
