A 38-year-old man was arrested on 31 counts of weapons-related charges following a lengthy investigation by police.
Robert Brenner, of Milford, was arrested on a warrant at his Milford home on Friday, Nov. 11, said the Milford Police.
Brenner was arrested after police responded to his home in May 2018, for a welfare check and while there noticed a large cache of weapons and ammunition.
After a long investigation and meeting with the Connecticut State Police, a warrant was obtained, police said.
Brenner was charged with10 counts of illegal possession of assault weapons, 10 counts possession of armored piercing ammunition, and 11 counts illegal possession of high capacity magazines.
He is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
