Greenwich resident Charlee Rodriguez, 27, attempted to elude police after he was spotted stealing merchandise from an area store on Friday, Oct. 11, leading to his eventual arrest following a short pursuit.

Officers chased Rodriguez until he entered I-95, at which point they halted the pursuit.

“GPD officers attempted to make a motor vehicle stop of the subject’s vehicle. The subject fled south on Greenwich Avenue, which evolved into a motor vehicle pursuit,” Rodriguez’s arrest report read.
