Shelton Organization Seeks Funding For Legal Defense In Suits Against City

SHELTON, Conn.  – Activist group Save Our Shelton is looking to raise money to help pay legal fees associated with its two lawsuits filed against the city.

The group is seeking $50,000 to help pay for Joel Green, who was hired to oversee the Shelter Ridge Planning & Zoning Legal Appeal, and Keith Ainsworth, who has been retained to look into a potential case against the Wetlands Wetlands Commission for the same project. 

To date, the organization has raised more than $28,000 in their efforts to fight high-density development in Shelton.
