TEAM has run the Toys 4 Kids holiday toy drive program for more than 20 years. Toys 4 Kids collects new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year and distributes those toys as holiday gifts to needy children in the community.

More toys were collected at the Fire Company in Shelton than the van could handle. It took the team's van and two full pick-up trucks from the fire house to haul the toys to Ansonia, which is where TEAM's early learning center is based.

The mission of TEAM, Inc. is to connect individuals and families with solutions that lead to well-being, self-sufficiency and full participation in the community.

TEAM achieves its mission by conducting activities that focus on the needs of economically disadvantaged individuals and families including resource mobilization, education, advocacy and service delivery.

The success of the toy drive program relies on volunteer support and community involvement. Each year with the help of the community, TEAM supplies toys to more than 1,700 children; this could not be done without the help of the volunteers, collection sites and the contributions received from generous community members.
