The event is free and open to the public. There will also be a book signing.

In her new book, Nyberg delves into the long, extraordinary life of the screen legend through personal remembrances from people whose lives she influenced – even in the tiniest way, according to a release from Written Words Bookstore.

From tales from her beloved Fenwick in Connecticut to her time as an actress, endearing memories of Hepburn are recounted that highlight her individuality, confidence, determination and zest for life, the release said.

Nyberg is WTNH-TV’s longest-serving anchor/reporter in the station’s history. She has been voted “Best News Anchor” for a decade in Connecticut Magazine’s reader’s poll. With a degree in journalism from Purdue University, the multi-talented Nyberg is also a philanthropist, business owner and columnist.

A lover of the arts, Nyberg is a founding Board of Trustees member of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook, the only theater in the world named after the iconic Connecticut actress.

Books presented for signing must be purchased at the event from Written Words Bookstore.

The event will start at 1 p.m. For additional information, contact Dorothy at 203-944-0400.
