SHELTON, Conn. – This story from the Huntington Library in Shelton has a happy ending.
At a Halloween-themed story hour last Friday, Joseph Correi asked his girlfriend, family services librarian Marissa Ciullo, to start a new chapter in their lives.
In front of kids, parents and an array of candy, Correia got down on bended knee and proposed to Ciullo, who was dressed as Alice in Wonderland for Halloween.
She said yes, and the crowd serenaded the couple with “Going to the Chapel.’’
