The Boeing 737, which was en route to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, had to turn back to Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport at approximately 11:45 a.m. local time Thursday, April 17, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.

Upon landing, firefighters swiftly extinguished the blaze, along with a small grass fire that had ignited near the runway, according to authorities.

No injuries were reported among the 134 passengers on board.

Passengers exited the aircraft on a taxiway.

The FAA is investigating the cause of the fire.
