RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ridgefield's grand list of taxable properties within the town's borders now tops $4.7 billion in value, First Selectman Rudy Marconi said, according to the Ridgefield Press.
The number, used to calculate the fiscal year's tax rate, grew by $28 million from 2015, the Press said.
The breakdown of value is $245.8 million for automobiles, $104.1 million in value for personal property, and $4.4 billion in local homes, reported the Ridgefield Press.
Revenue is expected to grow by just over $740,000 as a result of the rise in property value, reported the Ridgefield Press.
