After what the Ridgefield police called a brief investigation, they charged 21-year-old Ben Portus and 23-year-old Trevor Weeks with causing serious damage to the potted plants.
The report also says Portus relieved himself outside of the same business where the plants had been damaged.
Both were charged with misdemeanor breach of peace and felony criminal mischief. Each posted $250 bond. They are due Oct. 9 in Danbury Superior Court.
