RIDGEFIELD, Conn. Ridgefield Police charged a Bridgeport woman with driving while intoxicated with her 5-year-old daughter in the car Saturday evening.
According to the police report, Marisol Gonzalez, 39, was pulled to the side of the road when police found her. Police state that Gonzalez told them she had been drinking before getting in the car, and that she failed a field sobriety test.
The childs father was called to pick her up and the Department of Children and Families was notified of the situation.
Gonzalez was charged with misdemeanors for driving while intoxicated, risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace and having an expired registration. She was released on a $500 cash bond and is due at Danbury Superior Court on Sept 4.
