Police: Realtor Tried To Auction $405K In Items Taken From Wilton Home

WILTON, Conn.  – A Ridgefield realtor is facing attempted larceny charges after she tried to sell items she stole from a Wilton house she was overseeing, police said.

Barbara Morris, 66, stole items worth more than $400,000 from the home then attempted to sell it through an auction house in Stamford back in February. Morris turned herself in to authorities on June 15, police said. 

Morris posted a $75,000 bond and will appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 26.
