RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A Danbury woman was charged by the Ridgefield police with driving under the influence after backing onto Mopus Bridge Road and hitting a stonewall.
When police arrived at the scene Sunday afternoon they determined that Dorinda Brunale, 66, was intoxicated and arrested her before bringing her to the headquarters for processing.
Police charged Brunale with driving under the influence, unsafe backing and driving with as suspended license.
Brunale was released on a $500 cash bond and was due to appear at Danbury Superior Court on July 8. No information was available about the outcome of her appearance.
