The Patterson Fire Department responded Saturday at 1:30 a.m. to a fire at 986 Rt. 311, and received assistance from Carmel, Lake Carmel, Pawling and Putnam Lake departments.

The info on the GoFundMe page states: "The Caravetta family (a mom and two girls - 11th grade and 7th grade) was devastated by a house fire in their home in the early hours of Saturday morning, March 18th. Thankfully no one was home at the time of the incident.

Thank God they have each other and are staying strong throughout this unfortunate disaster.

We would like to raise money for any expenses they may incurred stemming from the damage of their home. They lost everything.

Please pray and continue to pray for Rachel and her girls."
