HACKENSACK, N.J. -- John Kempf, of Hackensack, died on Wednesday, March 22. He was 81.
An Army veteran, Kempf worked for PSE&G before he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann (Vallinino) Kempf; children John Kempf and his wife Stephanie, Tracey Stracener and her husband Phillip, and Amy Mondelli and her husband Todd; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters Elsie Janos and Brenda Kempf.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 24, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., in Paramus. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
