RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — A tree service truck hit and damaged the beloved Cass Gilbert Fountain in Ridgefield on Monday morning, according to the Ridgefield Press.
One window pane on the glass covering was broken, several flower pots around the base were smashed and some holiday decorations were scattered, the Press said.
The truck was pulling a chipper when it hit the fixture on Main Street, the Press said.
