RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — A broken fiber optic cable has slowed Verizon service for Ridgefield residents on Thursday. “Verizon seems to have a pretty good idea where it is,” First Selectman Rudy Marconi said during a news conference Thursday. The cable was connected to the cell tower at Moses Mountain in Danbury, Marconi said. Verizon representative said service should be back up this afternoon, Marconi said.
