State police had issued a photo of Jason Voss, 44, formerly of Bridgeport, as part of their “Wanted Wednesday” series on Facebook earlier this month, which was in turn featured on numerous media outlets, including Daily Voice.

On Wednesday, March 13, the state police announced they had located the wanted man and he was arrested.

Voss was arrested three times for possession of marijuana, with the last in 2015. He was given a seven-year suspended sentence, with a conditional discharge that included the DNA testing, state police said.

State police have made numerous unsuccessful efforts to find Voss until posting his case on Facebook.

The state police thanked everyone who offered tips that led to his arrest.
