RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — The Office of the First Selectman has announced a deadline for interested parties to join a committee aimed at researching and reviewing possible uses of the 30-acre former Schlumberger parcel in town.
The Board of Selectmen announced the deadline as Wednesday, Dec. 31. Any letters of interest from residents must be received by that date.
All candidates must be electors of the town and should have the ability to meet on a regular basis for this long-term assignment.
Nine residents will serve on the committee and will work with a planner or planning company to review all potential options and aspects of the property's future. Expertise in land use is welcome but not a requirement for candidates.
Interviews with the Board of Selectmen will start next month. Anyone interested should send a letter and resume/CV to the board via email at firstname.lastname@example.org by Dec. 31.
