RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The New Ridgefield Library design will be on display Thursday.

The library will present "Envisioning the New Ridgefield Library: A Lively Panel Discussion About the Library Design" at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum at 258 Main St. in Ridgefield, according to a press release.

"Please join us for a preview of the New Ridgefield Library design," representatives said in the release. "Our panel has two representatives from the Library's architect, Newman Architects, Principal Richard Munday and Senior Associate Michelle Newman; the Library's Owner's Representative Robert Cavello; Director of the Ridgefield Library Chris Nolan, and Library Board Chair Peter Coffin."

Representatives said it was their goal to "inform and excite our community" about the new library through the presentation, according to the release.

Ridgefield Library officials previously announced that the new building and the related renovations will be finished by April 2014.
