Why Go: You don’t have to dress up for the Roadhouse’s buffet-style feast -- jeans and T-shirts are just fine. The Roadhouse's atmosphere is family friendly and casual and the décor is definitely rustic, with knotty-pine paneling and racks of antlers gracing its walls. And if the young’ins have finished wolfing down their waffles, and are looking for something to do whilst the adults schmooze over Bloody Marys, there is a Bocce ball court outside.

Worth Waking Up For: You will be spoiled for choice , but after gorging on omelettes, granola, fresh fruit, French toast, breakfast meats, pasta and chicken, save some room for pillowy and chewy hand-cut doughnuts from Uncle Leo’s, the go-to bakery in nearby Georgetown which keeps the Roadhouse in a generous supply.

When: Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Prix Fixe? Yes. Adults, $24.95; children, ages five through 10, $12.95; children under five, free. The brunch comes with a complimentary Bloody Mary or mimosa.
