A visitor posted this Yelp review. "Flew in from Seattle, and was happy to find a place that gets coffee. Great location in town, funky/homey feel, and good coffee...there's pastries and stuff, but they've got more substantial options ta boot. I had some wicked good veggie chili, it hit the spot."

A Facebook review said, "We are lucky to live down the street from the best coffee in CT - and, might I add, the best coffee in the country."

"The staff is warm, and we always see familiar faces when we go. The coffee is out of this world. For a black coffee drinker like me, it's incredible to taste all of the different coffees they offer," the post continues.

Shearwater Coffee Bar, 1215 Post Road, Fairfield: Here you enjoy pour-over coffee drinks made from organic beans, from espresso to cold-brew, nitro coffee, teas, and pastries.

"This place is amazing!!! My friend and I happened to run into it and we’re definitely coming back. The coffee is amazing, service is remarkable, and it definitely is the type of place that I want to spend money at,  instead of a chain," a Yelp post said.

Caffe Social, 73 North Main St., Norwalk: This SoNo spot is a full-service cafe with great coffee reviewers say. There are sandwiches, omelets, five ways to order Eggs Benedict and much more on the menu.

Kateland McKenzie told Daily Voice, "Their coffee is roasted in Brooklyn and they also have tasty hot and cold chocolates. Plenty of flavors and options for any coffee lover. They also have pastries, danishes, and a full kitchen."

Tusk & Cup Fine Coffee, 51 Ethan Allen Highway, Ridgefield: This is an espresso bar and gelateria with coffee drinks, Italian sodas, frozen hand made drinks, and pastries, bagels, muffins, and scones and there's plenty of parking on site at Route 107/102 location on the corner.

Yelp poster Lauren D. says, "The place itself is cute and welcoming, has a fireplace with a couch and about 10 low tables and two high top tables. There are many options of pastries, gelato, and coffees as well as other drinks in the refrigerator. Not to mention friendly helpful service."

Also on Yelp, PM. of Boston said in a review, "Delicious! Perfect espresso and fresh bagels! Staff friendly. Relaxing pace. Croissants we went back for another!"
