Friday, March 15
Job Corps Info Session: 1:30 p.m. Job Corps is a voluntary and free career technical training program federally funded for 17 to 24 year olds. The information session will also take place on Saturday. Danbury Library, 170 Main St, Danbury.
Saturday, March 16
St. Patrick's Dinner and Music: noon to 10 p.m. The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center is holding a special St. Patrick’s day dinner. There will be music by Steve O’Tree starting at 6 p.m. Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Ave., Danbury.
Comet Watch: 7:30 p.m This program will have the telescopes trained on the crescent Moon, Jupiter and hopefully the Comet PanSTARRS. All ages welcome. For registration and directions call 438-1063. Discovery Center, 26 Great Pond Road, Ridgefield.
Sunday, March 17
St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt: 2 p.m. Families are welcome to join together to search around Ballard Park for a special St. Patrick's event. Ballard Park, Main Street, Ridgefield.
"They Called Me Lizzy:" 4 to 6 p.m. “They Called Me Lizzy: From Slavery to the White House” is a one-woman show with actor Stephanie Jackson. Tickets $15 available at the door. Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main St., Ridgefield.
