Ridgefield Welcomes America to the Playhouse Stage

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Only a few tickets remain to see the band America take the Ridgefield Playhouse stage Sunday.

The band has been called an “all-time classic-rock favorite” after topping the charts with songs like "A Horse With No Name,” “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Don’t Cross The River,” “Tin Man” and “Lonely People.”

In February this year, the band was given their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, after being inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2006.

America will be joined on stage by a special guest, 12-year-old Bobby Paltauf, after the release of his first mini album “Let’s Go for a Ride.”

For more information or tickets, which cost $85, call the Ridgefield Playhouse at 203-438-5795 or visit its website
