RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse will host a special high-definition broadcast of "The Barber of Seville" from the Metropolitan Opera House on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 12:55 p.m.
"The Barber of Seville" will feature Isabel Leonard as the Rosina with Lawrence Brownlee as her conspiring flame as well as Christopher Maltman as the resourceful and charming barber.

Future Met broadcast events include Richard Wagner’s "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" on Sunday, Dec. 14.
