RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo are returning to rock The Ridgefield Playhouse.
The duo are set to perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 12 at The Ridgefield Playhouse for what is expected to be a sold-out show. The four-time Grammy Award-winning Benatar is known for hits “Hit me With Your Best Shot,” “Love Is A Battlefield,” “Heartbreaker,” “Hell is For Children,” “Treat Me Right,” “You’d Better Run,” “Shadows of the Night” and “We Belong."
"Pat Benatar is an iconic American rock singer who was one of the most heavily played artists in the early days of MTV," a release said. "Interestingly enough, her early musical training as a coloratura soprano was strictly classical and theatrical. She worked as a singing waitress and got her big break in 1975 at an amateur night comedy club in New York when she sang a rousing rendition of Judy Garland’s 'Rock-a-Bye Your Baby With a Dixie Melody.' The rest is rock history."
Bayou North is offering a free cocktail with lunch or dinner the day of the concert when tickets are presented. The show is underwritten by Bruce Bennett Nissan and is part of the XFinity Rock Series.
For tickets, which are $125 for the Gold Circle, $110 for orchestra and $98 mezzanine, call the box office at 203-438-5795, or buy tickets online at The Ridgefield Playhouse website.
