'Little Engine That Could' Making Two Stops At The Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – "The Little Engine That Could" is rolling into The Ridgefield Playhouse on Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. and making another stop at 2 p.m.

This live musical adaptation of the children’s book “The Little Engine That Could” by Watty Piper tells the story of Little Blue Engine, who dreams of someday leaving the train yard to pull the big cars on the main line track. It explores the concepts of determination, hard work and friendship.

Tickets cost $15 each and can be purchased online, by visiting the box office or by calling 203-438-5795.

Dimitri's Diner at 16 Prospect St. will take 10 percent off the bill before or after the show when ticket stubs are presented.

This show is presented by Arts Power and is part of the Pepsi Children’s Series. It’s partially underwritten by Books on the Common and Ridgefield Academy with support from the Ridgefield Library and media sponsor 98Q.

The Ridgefield Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street.
