CHIRP Moves First Summer Concert To Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - The Stray Birds, a trio of folk performers, will still be opening the Ridgefield CHIRP Summer Concert series Tuesday night, just not at Ballard Green.

Rain has cause the first concert to move inside to the Ridgefield Playhouse.

"Too wonderful to have rained on, The Stray Birds will be at Ridgefield Playhouse tonight at 7 p.m. for CHIRPs first concert. Eat first, don't miss," read CHIRP's twitter feed.

The concert will still be free, but picnicking is not encouraged at this time.

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate for the June 4 concert, featuring St. Paul & The Broken Bones, to be held at Ballard Park. To see the full list of performers in this summer's concert line up click here.
