Bowersox will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 15 as part of her national tour before she heads for Broadway, where she will star in the premiere of Ted Swindley's "Always… Patsy Cline" this fall in the title role.
Her special guest is rising star singer/songwriter and guitarist Emily Elbert, whose most recent album is "Alive, In Love."
With a strong voice and sweet style, Bowersox shines in concert, typically performing both original music and covers while playing guitar and accompanied by her band. A consummate artist whose uncompromising vision of herself and her music is refreshing and rare, Bowersox exudes a gentle warmth and wisdom well beyond her years.
“I believe if you stand for something, stand your ground; stand it strong and stand it proud,” she said in a statement.
