Stroll Down Ridgefield's Main Street At Holiday Event

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Enjoy a walk down Ridgefield’s Main Street for the 13th Annual Holiday Stroll this weekend.

On Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec.1, the downtown area of Ridgefield will be flush with special shopping, events and food.

On Friday night, horse-and-carriage rides will be leaving from the Loundsbury House, and ice sculpting takes place outside The Toy Chest. A continuous showing of “It’s a Wonderful Life” starts at 6 p.m. at the Town Hall, and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will hold a book fair.

Events continue all day Saturday, and include photos with Santa at the Town Hall starting at 11 a.m.; residents are asked to bring their own camera. A Gingerbread Festival starts at noon at the Ridgefield Boys and Girls Club

The Holiday Boutique will be open at the Loundsbury House both days - on Friday from 3 p.m to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All events are free. Residents are invited to come out and enjoy the start of the holiday season. For more information, visit the Downtown Ridgefield site
