RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ridgefield’s Nicholas Donofrio was honored by Pace University’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at a recent reception in New York.
Donofio, a retired IBM Fellow emeritus and executive vice president for innovation and technology, was honored at the 18th Leadership and Service in Technology Award Reception at Bank of New York Mellon.
He retired from IBM and formed NMD Consulting LLC in 2008. He began his career at IBM in 1964 and worked at the company for more than 40 years.
Donofrio holds seven technology patents, is a member of numerous technical and science honor societies, and holds several board positions. He earned a bachelor's from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds a master’s degree from Syracuse University.
