Super Bowl Sunday Storm Slams Northeast, More Snow, Ice Coming: Here's When
A fast-moving storm with snow, sleet, and freezing rain has impacted 25 states, creating slippery travel conditions throughout the Northeast on Super Bowl Sunday morning, Feb. 9.
The storm moved from the Midwest to the East Coast on Saturday night, Feb. 8.
Overnight, the heaviest snowfall occurred inland in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and northern New England, where accumulations reached between 6 inches to a foot by Sunday morning.

Snowfall accumulation impacted areas across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York, with Sussex County, NJ, and Putnam County, NY, seeing the highest totals from Sunday, Dec. 15 into Monday, Dec. 16.

Rounds of severe storms with drenching downpours have closed roads, flooded homes, and destroyed roads across Connecticut.
According to the National Weather Service, Monroe was one of the hardest-hit areas, with 9.98 inches of rain on Sunday, Aug. 18. Firefighters and police worked throughout the night to rescue trapped drivers and residents from rapid flooding.

Severe Storms, Possible Tornadoes Fueled By Beryl's Remnants To Hit Northeast: Timing, Track
Numerous clusters of severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and possible isolated tornadoes fueled by the remnants of Beryl are headed to the Northeast.
Beryl, which made landfall along the Texas coast as a Category 1 hurricane on Monday, July 8, will move into upstate New York and northern New England on Wednesday, July 10, starting late in the afternoon and continuing overnight.
The most severe storms on Wednesday are expected in areas marked in orange and yellow in the image above, mainly farther north and west of the I-95 corridor.
