Norwalk Home Destroyed In Blaze Despite Firefighters' Quick Action Firefighters in Connecticut were able to put out a house fire in about 30 minutes Tuesday morning, Jan. 14, but it wasn't enough to save the structure, officials said.  The fire was reported around 8 a.m. at a split-level home on Cindy Lane in Norwalk.
