NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Little League has opened registration for its upcoming season, officials announced this week.
Opening Day ceremonies are planned for April 27, and new for 2013, all registration is now handled online at www.norwalkctlittleleague.com. Payments can be made online using a credit card, or mailed to the league after online registration is complete.
Those who register prior to Jan. 1 will receive an early-bird discount.
The league plans to play a 20-game schedule, and all teams make the playoffs. Professional instructional clinics will be offered at the T-Ball and minor league levels, and all players will learn and play different positions throughout the season.
To welcome players, the league is hosting a pizza party Jan. 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Batter’s Box, 327 Main Ave. in Norwalk.
