Fairfield University's Brent Adams was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association first team on Wednesday. Adams, a sophomore from Norwalk, was also named to the All-ECAC team on Tuesday.
Adams finished the season with a team-best 16 goals for the Stags. He had 17 points, fifth best on the team, picked up 28 ground balls and forced four turnovers. Teammate Greg Bannon of Greenwich was also a first team NEILA selection. Fairfield finished 8-6, the team's second straight winning season.
Norwalk's John Snellman contributed 15 goals for Fairfield. Kevin Peters of Darien added eight goals.
