South Norwalk Kids Head Back To School With Community Celebration

NORWALK, Conn. -- Donors and supporters came together to send the children of the King Kennedy Homes in South Norwalk back to school with all the necessary supplies at a special community celebration.

The event was organized by Luis Delgado and featured guest appearances by Mayor Harry Rilling and Senator Bob Duff. Helping out were the Eagle Riders of Norwalk associated with the Eagle Club on Mott Avenue and representatives from Stepping Stones Museum. Prime Burger of Norwalk donated 104 burgers along with buns, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese for the event.

DJs performed and prizes were given out to residents of the community. Book bags, school supplies, and other necessities were also given away.
