NORWALK, Conn. -- Those interested in animals, wildlife, the human-animal bond, or the veterinary profession will want to explore Norwalk Community College’s Veterinary Technology Program.

Two full-time, first year Vet Tech courses will be offered during the Fall 2015 semester: Introduction to Veterinary Technology (VET 101) and a new Veterinary Medical Terminology course (VET 125).

These courses are open to any NCC student who is eligible for ENG 101. NCC students do not need to be in the program to enroll in these courses. Students interested in the program admission who have completed, or are close to completing, the prerequisites may be eligible for placement in additional VET courses after discussion with the program coordinator. Please note that VET 100 is not an open enrollment course.
