Susan Marks, Norwalk's new superintendent, is visiting next week. According to interim Superintentent Michael Nast, she arrives on Tuesday evening for a week long visit. Nast is not sure if she will attend the Board of Education meeting scheduled on Tuesday night. During her time here, she plans on meeting with various members of the school staff, both in central office and throughout the schools. It is expected that she will finalize her contract with the BOE during the week. The contract is with the lawyers now, according to Board Chair Glenn Iannaccone. Nast also said that Marks, who is scheduled to start work on July 1, will begin to look for housing while she is here.
