The school was opened in 2004 by believers in the play-based “Waldorf” method of education, The Hour story said.
According to Wikipedia, the Waldorf, or Steiner, method is based on "anthroposophy," the educational, therapeutic and creative philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian social reformer.

School officials did not return The Hour’s calls for comment, the newspaper said.
