Unknown Assailant Strikes Man In The Head In Norwalk Attack

NORWALK, Conn. — A man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after he was assaulted near Connecticut and Taylor avenues Sunday afternoon, police said.

Norwalk police are investigating the report of an reported assault Sunday.

The man told police that he was walking in the area at about 4:55 p.m. Around that time, an unknown man, who was walking behind him, struck him in the head, police said.

The victim did not see the man, who fled the area, police said.
