Kieonna Bragg, 19, of West Main Street, was charged with second-degree assault and breach of peace in an Oct. 14 attack after a Stamford High football game in which she knocked a teenage girl unconscious, police said.
She's also charged with third-degree assault of a woman at a teenage dance that left the victim with severe neck injury that required three days of hospitalization, police said.
Bragg confronted a teenager after the football game Oct. 14 and another teenage girl tried to intervene, Lt. Tom Barcello said. Bragg punched the girl and, after she fell to the ground, kicked her in the head and caused her to lose consciousness, he said.
The teen regained consciousness and called her mother to pick her up and take her to the hospital, he said.
The second assault occurred at a Friday, Jan. 13, teen dance at the Glamor club at 84 W. Park Place.
Bragg went to the dance intending to fight a 19-year-old Stamford woman over Facebook posts, Barcello said. The 19-year-old was punched repeatedly, suffering a neck injury that landed her in Stamford Hospital, he said.
She was later transferred to the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y., for treatment. She was released on Jan. 16.
During the attack, the victim's purse fell to the floor and her $900 cellphone, $300 in cash and other items spilled out and were taken, Barcello said. No charges were filed in the theft, he said. The phone was eventually returned — with a crack — but not the cash, he said
Bragg was arrested at her home Wednesday afternoon and her bond was set at a combined $75,000.
Another woman, Ebony Preyer, 21, of 1 Lawn Ave., was also charged with third-degree assault in connection with the Jan. 13 attack.
