Three From Fairfield County Charged With DWI In NY State Police Stops

Several area residents are among more than two dozen who were busted for alleged impaired driving in the Hudson Valley.

Local residents charged include:

Westchester County

  • On Saturday, March 9, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Howard I. Bien, 53, of Croton-on-Hudson, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Croton-on-Hudson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, March 9, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Diana P. Caja Tigre, 30, of Cortlandt, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 9 in Peekskill, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and she was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 10, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Nicholas A. Falcone, 28, of Yorktown, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. He was traveling on State Route 202 in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 10, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Walter Dominguez Jr., 28, of Cortlandt, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Peekskill, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 10, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Derek M. Dimarzo, 24, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on the Bear Mountain Parkway in Cortlandt, left the roadway, and became disabled in muddy ground. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

Putnam County

  • On Sunday, March 10, State Police from Brewster arrested Robert J. Gasparri, 54, of Southeast, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Saturday, March 9, State Police from Stormville arrested Paul C. Casserly, 51, of Hyde Park, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Friday, March 8, State Police from Somers arrested Tyrik E. Carr, 21, of Stamford, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on I-684 in Bedford, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, March 9, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Anthony J. Bellantoni, 27, of Danbury, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on I-684 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, March 10, State Police from Somers arrested Edwin J. Galeas Carrasco, 39, of Danbury, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on I-684 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
