Police: Norwalk Man, 50, Threatened To Kill Girlfriend With Knife

NORWALK — A 50-year-old Norwalk man was arrested Sunday night after he threatened to kill his girlfriend with a knife, according to The Hour.

The suspect had a knife in his possession when he was arrested, Norwalk police said.

Michael Johnson and the victim had gotten into an argument, and he broke a window in an attempt to get into her residence, The Hour said. 

While outside, Johnson yelled that he would “kill everyone” inside, police told The Hour.

When apprehended nearby a short time later, Johnson was found with a knife, 2.1 grams of marijuana and a smoking pipe, The Hour said.

He was held on $100,000 bond and charged with second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, The Hour said.
