NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man was charged with threatening two occupants of a multifamily home in an early Friday morning incident, police said.
Police were called to the home on a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found Logan Finnie, 34, on the couch in the living room, police said.
Police said Finnie had a black handle sticking out of his pocket, which was attached to a steak knife. Finnie said he had the knife because he was cooking meat in the kitchen, police said.
The complainant said that Finnie had stood at the bottom of the stairs to the house’s second story, shouting threatening messages while she and her male companion were upstairs, according to police reports.
The compliant told police that she didn’t see a knife, but she felt threatened and scared. Her male companion confirmed her version of events and said he also felt threatened, police said.
Police said Finnie was mad because the complainant allegedly had not paid her rent. He was charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, police said.
Finnie’s bond was set at $5,000, and his court date was set for Feb. 26, police said.
