Norwalk Police Charge Bridgeport Man With Leaving Threatening Voice Mail

NORWALK, Conn. — A 25-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested after he left a threatening and vulgar voice mail, Norwalk police said.

The victim called police Wednesday to report that Jayquann McKinney had left her a vulgar voice mail. The voice mail was in an aggressive tone and included threats of physical violence, police said.

The victim played the voice mail for a police officer, who made contact with McKinney, police said.

McKinney was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment. He was released on a promise to appear with a court date of June 30, police said.
