That's what a city man is alleged to have done, said Norwalk Police who discovered there were three outstanding warrants for Kevin Johnson, 53, of 100 San Vincenzo Place after they arrested him on a breach of peace charge.
Police said that on Sunday night around 10 p.m. a man believed to be intoxicated walked into the Courtyard Norwalk on Main Avenue where he became loud and belligerent.
The man left before police arrived but a suspect matching the description was spotted a short distance away on Main Avenue.
The man angrily questioned police why they stopped him.
"He said 'he wasn't doing anything and police had no reason to stop him,'" according to the police report said Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
The man's mood didn't improve when he got to the police station as he became agitated and disrespectful to the police officers, according to the report. He refused to be fingerprinted despite repeated requests.
He was held for a court appearance Monday on a $20,000 bond for three warrants for failing to appear in court, the second-degree breach of peace and refusing to be fingerprinted.
His original charges date from 2004 when he was issued motor vehicle related infractions of no insurance, no driver's license and an expired sticker. He is alleged to have repeatedly missed court appearances on those infractions that led to the three outstanding warrants.
